Christina and Matt's wedding included an awesome cake and one of the best dancing photos that I've ever taken at a wedding!

Not only were Christina and Matt great to work with, but I really enjoyed spending the day with their families as well! And the wedding party too! Pretty much everyone I ran into at the wedding was fun!

Ammie and Jordan are some friends of mine who got married near a lighthouse on the lake. I think this is the first time I've seen a Vegan option at a wedding! We were lucky enough to have great weather for this outdoor celebration! Here are some of my favorites:

A little fun in Evanston, IL!! Amanda and Matt kept things simple and classy by getting married on the beach and then heading over to Campagnola restaurant for one of the most amazing Italian meals that I've ever had!

I spent some time yesterday with a model and a makeup artist. I especially like the second shot:

I had actually never met Bobby and Marcy prior to the wedding. However, they were wonderful with me and I thought we all got along quite well!

I was really proud of myself on this one because we weren't able to use some of the beautful parks available to use due to rain. With some quick thinking and some fast lighting set ups (with help from my trusty assistant!) we were able to take some great photos of the wedding party in the reception room before all the guests came in! This is exemplified in the photo of the bridesmaids below:

First wedding of the season! I think it went smashingly. We had a bit of rain here and there, but had a fair share of sunshine as well!

This weekend after a lovely Mothers Day Brunch, I got together with a group of fun girls and took some photos for all of our portfolios. Included were Makeup Artist Julie Dietrich, Fashion Designer Kristy Schomburg, and our lovely models Ashley, Beth, Carly and Valencia.

I had a lot of fun. Who knew a laundromat would make such a great location?!

Here is my Shepherd photo for Water Buffalo - a new restaurant in the Third Ward next to the Ale House. It's very possible that this is a case of a lot of style and ambiance in decor, but not in the food. The menu seems pretty basic to me. However, they do have patio seating on the River, so perhaps that will tickle your fancy.

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to photograph a very happy baby on a very beautiful day. This was Sam's official "I just turned 1!" photoshoot and I was very happy with the results. Here are some of my favorites!
