  I learned at the ceremony that Matthew and Jenny have atually known each other since kindergarten! No - they haven't been dating this whole time. In fact, I believe Jenny tried to set up Matt with her friends, and vice versa. There must be a special level of comfort in knowing someone for so long.

  Even though I didn't get to know Matt and Jenny as well prior to the wedding (because they don't live in Milwaukee), I felt right at home. It was a blast being with the girls getting ready, and watching that unique way that all families have of communicating with each other. And I know that my assistant, Ashley, had a great time with the guys and their "construction shots" (view below).

  Maybe it's just difficult not to feel like you get to know a person a bit when you experience the whole wedding day with them as a photographer.
