MKE asked me to photograph Tallan Latz: Blues musician extraordinaire!! Tallan is only 8 years old and has been blowing away his fans with his talents!
Here are the photos that I turned in. It will be interested to see which one they use.
Recently I did the photography for a website representing what I believe to be a great cause. The company is called Mayu
About Mayu:
“I work directly with women who live in a rural community that sits high in the Andes Mountains. Falling in love with the artisans and their amazing skills, I decided to start Mayu in hopes of continuing to support them and their families. Through Mayu, they have been given the opportunity to earn fair, liveable wages and become more independent while doing what they both enjoy and excel in, knitting.
We spent many years together forming a business relationship and more importantly friendships. This business has been mutually beneficial; I have taught them valuable business skills and they have given me a greater insight into the issues of women in developing countries, especially mothers who are single, divorced, or widowed and struggling to provide for their families.
As an accessory addict and a Mayu devotee, I believe that once you wear a Mayu product, you will not want to take it off! Our items appeal to sophisticated, yet fun and informal individuals who are socially conscious and looking for one-of-a-kind pieces.
