In deep thought
Today I photographed Austin. I found this to be the most challenging, because of all the people I have photographed so far, he is the person I knew the least. I was not sure if this would affect the photo or not.
Here is where we started…a test shot in his room.
Here is the photo I made, using the guidelines I have given myself for the project. This includes the framing of the image, color saturation, and consistency in lighting. Also, trying to get a more “painterly portrait” kind of feel.
And here is the photo I find the most arresting. (Keep in mind that compressing these images loses a lot of the gorgeous color quality).
